Nikos Papadimosthenis was born in 1974 in Athens and is a musician and professor of Electric Guitar and Modern Theory. He holds a Master's degree in "Music Technology and Contemporary Practices", specializing in "Jazz Improvisation and New Technologies" (Department of Music Studies, School of Philosophy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens). He also holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the School of Engineering of the University of Patras, where he also served as a postgraduate fellow (Laboratory of Heterogeneous Catalysis, Department of Chemical Engineering).
His involvement with music began at the age of 10, as a student of the National Conservatory - Attica Conservatory, where he took classical guitar lessons. He continued his studies in electric guitar at the National Conservatory and GuitarFor, receiving the "Diploma of the London College of Music in Electric Guitar Teaching" from Thames Valley University. At the same time, he continued his studies in advanced music theory, receiving a Degree in Harmony from the National Conservatory. During this period, he attended seminars and masterclasses by distinguished musicians of the international scene, such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Jonathan Kreisberg, John Abercrombie, Paul Gilbert and Jimi Savage.
With many years of experience in teaching the electric guitar and modern theory in various conservatories in Athens and other cities, he has created the music groups "Ensembles Assembled", which through the live - events they hold, aim at the collaboration of his students with renowned artists and the communication of their art to the public. He was also a registered member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors in the period 2010 - 2013. An active musician, with appearances in various music scenes of Athens, he is a founding member and band leader of the Odd Limit Trio.
