IRENE-AFENDRA BOSINAKI

Irene Afendra Bosinaki began studying in the Department of Music Studies of theNational and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2016 and followed the field of Music Technology. In the winter semester of 2022, she graduated from the Department with a certificate of pedagogical competence. During her studies she actively participated in the organization of conferences, in musical ensembles, in electronic music festivals and in summer schools. More specifically, she has participated in the Electronic Music ensemble of TMS EKPA (LEME) and has presented her works in various concerts. In 2019, he took part in the six-month internship program "Diaplasis 19" that coordinates the Parliament Channel in collaboration with 25 University departments of the country, during which she successfully produced a series of documentaries. There, she assumed a series of responsibilities related to sound, image and music composition using new media and participated in numerous other students' productions as a sound engineer. Also, during the winter semester 2019-2020, as student of the "Radio Broadcast Production" course, she collaborated with ERT producer and technician Mr. Agis Gyftopoulos for the creation of two radio productions. She has also participated in international festivals as an artist, in international conferences as a volunteer and in international summer schools on Μusic Informatics. More specifically, in February 2020 she participated in the ‘’Movement Festival’’ of the Onassis Foundation. Professionally, she has collaborated with "Diazoma" (Stavros Benos) in recordings in N. Evia, with research projects for the collection of sounds for oral cultural heritage issues, as well as with the University of Amsterdam (Department of Archaeology) for videography and ambisonic recording of a research documentary as part of Site Sounds Project.

She is a collaborator of the Laboratory of Music Acoustics and Technology NKUOA (LabMAT) and a postgraduate student of the Master’s Program "Music Technology and Contemporary Practices" in the direction "Music Creation for New Media".
